Mamakating Library is participating in a recycling collection program to keep certain hard-to-recycle items out of the landfill.
The library is collecting ALL BRANDS of used or empty toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, toothpaste cartons, toothbrush outer packaging, and floss containers.
Items collected will be delivered to the SUNY Orange to add to their ongoing TerraCycle Collection Program.
This program is supported by RCLS, Sustainable Warwick, and TerraCycle.
