Writers create imaginary worlds in solitude. Many prefer it, but sometimes we need more than the confused, but patient, smile of a loved one as a response to whether what we create works or not.

Market, trends, interests: these are all strange beasts, and we, as writers/readers, have opinions we are willing to share.

Once a month this group of local writers will gather to share excerpts from our works in progress.

This will be a judgement-free place to offer helpful critiques.
Such as:

What dialogue sounds stilted?
Which character is unlikable?
Is that idea fully developed?

Constructive critiques & open discussion encouraged!
