Don’t have a library card? You can now get a full-privilege Mamakating Library card by applying online if you live in the Town of Mamakating and either the Monticello, Pine Bush or Minisink Valley school districts. This card is good for three months or until it is validated in the library (see last paragraph).
You will need to complete the form by filling in your name, age, address, phone number and if you would like to receive the library’s newsletters, your email address. Your account will be set up shortly after you hit submit and you will receive your new library card in the mail a few days later.
Your card will be usable to access the library’s ebooks, audiobooks, movies and music through Overdrive, Libby, and Hoopla, as well as Rosetta Stone, Consumer Reports, Kids InfoBits and much more.
To prevent the card from expiring three months from the creation of your library account, and to be able to borrow physical library materials from any library within RCLS, bring your identification and proof of address (within the Mamakating Library District) into the library to validate your account.
