Coding with Scratch 

Learn how to create and share animated digital stories!
Learn how technology is used in the film and media industry!

Mondays 10:00 to 11:30: Kindergarten-2nd Grade (July 1, 8, 15 and 22)
Wednesdays 10:00 to 11:30: 3rd-5th Grade (July 3, 10, 17 and 24)

Tuesdays 5:30 to 7:00 p.m: Ages 12 and up (July 9, 16 and 23)

The older group will learn to program their own ‘choose you own ending’ (interactive) story.

The best stories created will be featured on the Mamakating Library website.

(For K-2nd it is recommended that the student have their own tablet with Scratch Jr. installed. This is a version of scratch that is specifically designed for lower or pre-reading levels.  It is also recommended that a parent be with the student for this age group.)
