For children in grades 3 – 6
Fourth Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to Noon
Beginning September 22
• Observe, explore and engage!
• Hands-on exploration of the Basha Kill wetlands ecosystem
• Learn about wetland wildlife & the importance of protecting our water resources
• Meetings will alternate between the library and the Mamakating Environmental Education & Interpretive Center on South Road in Wurtsboro. Children will need to have transportation to each meeting site and to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities.
