Monthly on Fourth Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to Noon (Note: In March, we will meet on the third Saturday.)
• Observe, explore and engage!
• Hands-on exploration of the Basha Kill wetlands ecosystem
• Learn about wetland wildlife, water and weather
Members will learn through exploration at the Basha Kill wetlands and research using materials and exhibits at the Library and the Mamakating Environmental Education and Interpretive Center (EEIC).
Meetings will alternate between the library and the EEIC on South Road in Wurtsboro. Children will need to have transportation to each meeting site and to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities.
