Enjoy the second of a two-part Music in Mamakating series

Romantic Classical Music at the Mamakating Library

with world-class virtuosos Joseph Mennonna and Lucyane Bouchardet

This performance will include romantic songs such as Nacht und Träume, Seit Ich Ihn Gesehen and Mon Coeur from Sampson and Delilah as well as very early works from American composers from the Modern Era.  A reception with the artists will follow.

Mezzo-soprano Lucyane Bouchardet is a native of Brazil where she has performed in many classical music settings. Her U.S. performances include operatic choirs and solos in diverse venues including Carnegie Hall. Joseph Mennonna is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, currently performing in actor Kevin Bacon’s band, “The Bacon Brothers.”

After a prior performance at the Mamakating Library, audience members responded “Sublime!” and “Very uplifting!” Said one individual, “Even children sat still as if mesmerized by the sweet sounds of opera.”

There is an admission fee of $5.00 per person to help defray costs. This project is also made possible with funds from the 2017 Arts for Sullivan Decentralization Program, administered by Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
