Hypnosis for Stress Reduction and Relaxation

Catherine Moran of Horizon Hypnosis will be at the library on Tuesday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. to speak about hypnosis as a tool for stress reduction and relaxation.

Hypnosis has been proven to be an effective technique for self-directed growth, stress relief, learning and relaxation. It can be used for smoking cessation, weight loss and relief of anxiety. This will be a three-part presentation, with information on:

  • Hypnosis– the facts and the myths
  • Diaphragmatic breathing to relieve stress and anxiety and stop panic attacks
  • Self-hypnosis
